Megan Hallett

Megan joined the Foster Success team in November 2023 and serves as the Assistant Director of Education for the state of Maryland. Prior to this role, Megan served as both an Executive Functioning academic coach to students throughout the east coast and a secondary English Language Arts teacher in the state of Maryland. During this time, Megan focused on enhancing the individualized strengths and skills of her students in preparation for entering the real world upon graduating.

Some of Megan’s proudest moments include being a founding member of a collective that built eLearning gaming resources to assist academically during virtual learning, serving on various committees and boards to strengthen community outreach and youth programming, and receiving a Global InvestHer Spotlight award for her work with virtual education resources.

Megan holds a Masters of Education with a concentration in Classroom Technology from LaSalle University as well as a B.A. in Secondary English Education from the University of Delaware. Though a Delaware native, Megan has spent the majority of her adult life in Maryland and continues to work with various nonprofits and organizations across the state to enrich education, arts & culture, and community engagement. She is incredibly eager, motivated, and looks forward to serving the state of Maryland with the Foster Success team to provide valuable resources and support.
